That's one of the questions I hear the most when I'm out Noodling. The answer is no, I listen and draw by hand - simple as that.
Here's 4 reasons why I think it's important to have a person behind the pencil:

Not everything I hear needs to be captured. Some ideas or discussions are only for the people in the room and some stories are incredibly personal and told in confidence. An empathetic person can feel what's right or wrong to capture, but you can also tell me if there's anything you don't want to include.

The best thing about drawing in a room full of experts, is that it's a room full of experts! Who better to ask for clarification or to help explain a complicated concept. Sometimes it takes an extra bit of digging to really understand a topic and then make it visual, but if we're all in the space together (in person or virtually) it's a lot easier.

I share the Noodles on a large screen and encourage any speaker, participant or viewer to come and talk to me about what I've captured. I work digitally so anything can be fixed or redrawn. I always prefer the end result to be a collaboration!

Like I’ve already said, I just listen and draw. I don’t use generative AI or send your data who-knows-where to be processed and turned into imagery. Why would I outsource the fun bit? Between what I hear and what I draw it’s a closed loop and you have final say on what is or isn’t included in the final images.
