Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone who wants to increase engagement during and after their event. I work at small or large scale, from intimate workshops to multi-day conferences with hundreds of delegates.

I've worked alongside universities, businesses, charities, students, healthcare staff and facilitators to help create more memorable events.

Noodles work well at events where lots of information is being delivered. This could be during keynote speeches or panel discussions. In these situations live drawing helps your audience to absorb information faster and retain it for longer.

For events with group work, team building or process mapping, Noodles can help tie conversations together and let people see the whole discussion, rather than just what was happening on their table. It also lets participants see that their ideas are valued and acknowledged.

Yes you can! I follow the same process whethere the event is online or in-person. This includes arriving early to make sure my equipment is working as expected. I live stream my iPad screen so that it displays instead of a webcam. This allows you to pin, spotlight or minimise the illustrations whenever you need to.

Yes you can! If you have a good quality audio recording then I can generally use that to create a Noodle. If you have video too, even better! This way even past events can have their time in the spotlight again.

This depends on the length and structure of your event. Generally I like to break our Noodles into topic areas so that each image captures a "chapter" of your event. This makes them easier to share after the event. For example, you could share three different Noodles across three weeks to keep the conversation rolling. Of course if you want to capture the day in a single image I can do that too!

I understand that you'll want to share your brand new Noodles as soon as possible. In most instances the images are completed on the day but I do like to do a little tidying up after the event, just to make sure they're as easy to read as possible. Once they're in your hands, you have the opportunity to make edits and changes. After that, they're yours to share however you wish!

I grant a flexible license that allows most forms of sharing or distribution. If you intend to use the image on products to sell, this would have to be a separate agreement though. Apart from this you are free to share, print and distribute your Noodles anyway you would like.

We've seen our Noodles shared on LinkedIn, nestled into blogs, cited in papers and printed as posters, zines, and on postcards and coffee cups!
